The first in a new series called Expansion, Perseus Transit introduces the crew of Hypnos an experimental ship design poised to revolutionize space travel. As the crew works to test the ship they are attacked by mysterious invaders. Fleeing through space and repairing the ship the crew becomes develops as a family. When their executive officer is captured they discover a dangerous secret about their mysterious pursuer and the future of their home system.
