The book is divided into two parts. The first part contains a sketch of the lives of Ira Condit Perrine and his wife Feronia Bunker. Six of their ancestral lines are carried back to before the Revolutionary War, most of them into the 1600s. The second part contains the descendants of Ira Condit Perrine and Feronia Bunker up to the current time - over 3,000 were found. Biographical sketches of many of them are included. The families of daughters who acquire other surnames - Benjamin, Clipperton, Whitehead, Bell, and Palmer among many others - are also followed. A collection of letters written by Ira, Feronia, and others are contained in the Appendix. An extensive Index is included to facilitate finding relatives and ancestors.
