This book contains the successful submissions to a Special Issue of Energies on the subject area of ?Engineering Fluid Dynamics?. The topic of engineering fluid dynamics includes both experimental as well as computational studies. Of special interest were submissions from the fields of mechanical, chemical, marine, safety, and energy engineering. We welcomed both original research articles as well as review articles. After one year, 22 papers were submitted and 12 were accepted for publication. The average processing time was 65.2 days. The authors had the following geographical distribution: China (four); Italy (two); Korea (one); Germany (one); UK (one); Ireland (one); Australia (one); Sweden (one); Japan (one); Spain (one); Norway (one).Papers covered topics such as heat transfer in shell and helically coiled tube heat exchangers, the multiphase modeling of sprays, flashing flows, as well as mixing in a bubbling fluidized bed. Two papers related to heating ventilation and air condition (HVAC) are included, namely evaporation and condensation in the underfloor space of detached houses and air distribution

Unos cuantos, de entre los muchos temas que nos interesan de la Ciencia y Tecnología, se recogen a esa distancia suficientemente próxima como para escudriñar, pero manteniendo el zoom a la distancia apropiada para no exigir una preparación específica previa. Un tema único acapara demasiada atención; dos implican confrontación, contraste; tres aportan el sosiego tras la contienda entre los otros dos. Tríadas se mueve entre el sosiego de confrontaciones, que ponen el punto de reflexión cercano a nuestros intereses. Son una nueva forma de introducir el deseo de la lectura a través del contraste de temas desde puntos de vista diferentes. Una nueva forma de lecturas en Ciencia y Tecnología. Pero las interacciones ni son binarias, ni tampoco es necesario tener en cuenta a n cuerpos. Es posible que avancemos, considerablemente, teniendo en cuenta a tres cuerpos. Eso es lo que hacemos en Tríadas. Los temas, aisladamente, es posible que sean una cosa, pero en Tríadas tienen como razón de ser la derivada de la propia relación con los otros dos elementos.
