En los últimos años ha cobrado interés desde la Psicología Positiva el papel de las emociones positivas y fortalezas como la gratitud. Éstas actuarían como favorecedoras de conductas resilientes y por tanto bienestar o felicidad. Se mantiene una primera entrevista que supone el inicio de un proceso de acompañamiento utilizando las técnicas aprendidas sobre Counselling. Durante la intervención se cuantifica grado de sintomatología depresiva mediante el uso de la Escala de valoración de Hamilton de depresión (HDRS) y para finalizar se administra el Cuestionario de Gratitud (G-20). Se pretende cuantificar gratitud y sintomatología depresiva ante la adversidad analizando la relación entre ambas.La hipótesis que se quiere replicar es que pacientes con altas puntuaciones en gratitud afrontan mejor la adversidad y en consecuencia presentan menos patología depresiva.

A lo largo de las exploraciones ecográficas en lagestación, en ocasiones se detectan anomalías en el desarrollo o anatomíafetal. Alrededor del 3-4% de los embarazos seasocian con una anomalía congénita, ya sea una malformación estructural, undefecto cromosómico u otra enfermedad fetal. Además, otro 4-5% de las gestantespresentan un alto riesgo de tener un feto con un problema severo, como porejemplo, por ser una embarazo gemelar, por antecedentes familiares o por habertenido un hijo previo con una anomalía congénita. Todas estas enfermedades ocomplicaciones cuando son detectadas prenatalmente constituyen lo que llamamospatología fetal.
