Bábel nació en una familia de origen judío en el gueto de Odesa, durante un periodo de desasosiego social en el que tuvo lugar el éxodo masivo de muchos judíos del Imperio Ruso. Bábel sobrevivió el pogromo del 1905, con la ayuda de vecinos cristianos que dieron refugio a su familia, pero su abuelo Shoyl fue uno de los 300 judíos asesinados.

Com triomfar amb les TIC ofereix un ventall de pràctiques lectores amb lús de les tecnologies i el treball conjunt deducadors i educands. Un llibre adreçat tant als professors veterans com als futurs, a qui sarrisca a innovar i a qui té por al canvi, a qui està motivat i a qui no ho està, als docents que treballen les possibilitats educatives de la lectura i als que encara en desconeixen la riquesa, als que fan servir les TIC i als que no han tingut lopció de fer-ho i no shi han atrevit. #TriomfarTIC és una eina pràctica i eficient per a ensenyar lectura i escriptura utilitzant els mitjans tecnològics sense por. Per què? Doncs perquè lús de maneres noves de lectura i descriptura inclou tant la manera tradicional com la que aporten els mitjans digitals; no és una qüestió deliminar tot el que sha aconseguit i substituir-ho, més aviat cal entendre-ho com una expansió que sadequa al temps en què vivim.
