El Ministerio de Educación, Cultura y Deporte a través del Instituto Nacional de Tecnologías Educativas y de Formación del Profesorado (INTEF), está desarrollando recursos educativos digitales interactivos y multimedia que se adaptan al currículo de distintas áreas y materias de Educación Infantil, Educación Primaria, Secundaria Obligatoria, Bachillerato, Formación Profesional y Necesidades Educativas Especiales. Fruto de esta acción, Pizarra Interactiva desarrolla objetos de aprendizaje de Lengua y Matemáticas (5° y 6" primaria), diseñados para uso preferente en una "pizarra digital interactiva", pero válidos también para ser utilizados en cualquier ordenador personal. Todos los objetos cuentan con un diseño común y están estructurados como secuencias didácticas que cubren un proceso completo de enseñanza/aprendizaje con cuatro pasos: Introducción, Exploración, Ejercicios y Evaluación. Las pautas seguidas en el diseño del los objetos de aprendizaje contemplan la realimentación inmediata, el aprendizaje significativo, el predominio de la interactividad, la disponibilidad de un contador de aciertos y fallos y el uso de semillas aleatorias.
