La presente publicación recoge una serie de ensayos escritos por investigadores provenientes de diversas disciplinas ligadas al arte que abordan probemáticas y conceptos que pueden identificarse con el contexto del proyecto Register. Gabriela Rivadeneira, Rubén Tortosa, José Antonio Figueroa y Cristina Viteri permiten generar un debate que no termina solucionando la obra. Para los creadores del trabajo artístico, estos aportes suponen interpretaciones jamás contempladas durante el proceso de creación. Esto evidencia que el espacio del arte no se ve afectado únicamente por la labor del artista (su obra), sino que todas las lecturas acerca de la misma resultan fundamentales, la construyen.
L'objectiu principal és mostrar un recull dels esgrafiats que podem veure en diversos indrets de la ciutat, els quals decoren, per norma general, façanes d'edificis, però també s'han utilitzat en interiors: voltes, sòcols, arrimadors. El llibre és il·lustrat amb fotografies a tot color de Carme Bosch Carrera, l'Arxiu Provincial de la Diputació de Lleida i l'Arxiu Municipal de Lleida.
