La aparición en 1975 de Todo Dalí en un rostro marcó, sin duda, un hito en la extensa bibliografía de Salvador Dalí. Para ello, Luis Romero contó con dos factores de excepción: la colaboración activa del propio artista, que participó en la selección de los materiales y realizaría ex profeso para la publicación los textos caligráficos que abren cada uno de los apartados en los que se estructura el libro (y configuran su índice); y la experiencia de décadas de sugerentes conversaciones. Esta nueva edición cuenta con un nuevo diseño, la actualización del índice de obras, la digitalización y corrección de color de las imágenes a partir de nuevas transparencias, y la inclusión de una biografía y de una bibliografía sobre el artista, manteniendo el texto íntegro de Luis Romero y la secuencia de imágenes que el autor estableció con la colaboración de Salvador Dalí.
