EL ROMÁNICO EN LAS COLECCIONES DEL MNAC
Una visión actualizada de una de las etapas más singulares del arte catalán de los siglos XI hasta el XIII, a través de la colección del MNAC, que integra no tan sólo conjuntos de pintura mural si no también obras de pintura sobre tabla, escultura en madera y piedra y objetos de arte suntuario. Estas obras son objeto de un análisis riguroso a cargo de especialistas tanto del propio museo como externos, que detallan el contexto de cada obra, su historia y su influencia en artistas posteriores.

Publicada ininterrumpidamente des de 1944, "Quaderns" ofrece una visión crítica y de referencia de la arquitectura catalana e internacional. La revista semestral quiere recoger la multiplicidad de visiones e intereses propios del mundo líquido e interconectado en el que vivimos, y es por esto que, modificando formatos anteriores, en esta etapa cada número de la revista tendrá un equipo de dirección específico.

EL ARTE EN LA ANTIGÜEDAD CLÁSICA
Resumen problemático y conceptual de la historia del arte griego desde sus orígenes a finales del helenismo. Prima claramente el planeamiento de problemas teóricos y conceptuales sobre el modelo tradicional de manual de nombres y obras. Hay utilísimos cuadros sinópticos. En una segunda parte, se presenta de nuevo la historia del arte griego a partir de una serie de fichas de obras clave que son comentadas por extenso buscando el análisis individual de cada obra remita siempre a los problemas de tipo general.

EL ENCUADRE CINEMATOGRÁFICO
En esta fascinante y poderosa obra, Dominique Villain intenta comprender lo que ocurre durante la operación del encuadre cinematográfico, una de las partes más decisivas de la puesta en escena de un filme, que, sin embargo, siempre resulta un tanto misteriosa para cualquier persona que asista por primera vez a un rodaje, donde las decisiones a este respecto pasan por múltiples mediaciones. El libro está basado en un minucioso trabajo de investigación previa consistente en entrevistas con cámaras, operadores y técnicos, a los que se les plantearon cuestiones fundamentales sobre su papel en la elaboración de las imágenes de un filme y sobre su concepción del encuadre: ¿qué miembros del equipo técnico participan en la operación?, ¿cómo colaboran con el realizador en la composición visual de una película?, ¿cuál es la función real de la técnica?, ¿cuál ha sido la evolución del encuadre?... Preguntas a partir de las cuales no sólo se elabora un valioso documento sobre el tema, sino también, y principalmente, un ensayo imprescindible que demuestra un profundo y documentado conocimiento del cine, tanto de su historia como de sus teorías.
