ABAPORU: COMEDOR DE GENTE OU AUTORRETRATO? Tarsilinha, sobrinha-neta da artista plástica Tarsila do Amaral, lançou em setembro o livro "Abaporu, uma Obrade Amor". Nele, ela resgata a história do quadro maisfamoso de sua tia e, ao contrário das versões divulgadasaté hoje, o livro expõe uma tese inédita: o Abaporu seria, na verdade, um auto retrato da artista e não de umarepresentação do "homem antropofágico". Segundo a autora, o Abaporu, criado para presentar o então maridoda pintora, o escritor modernista Oswald de Andrade, é um autorretrato, e a figura de pé enorme e cabecinhapequena é a própria Tarsila, refletida no espelho de seuatelier.É Tarsilinha quem afirma: "Para comprovar minha tese, sentei-me em frente a um espelho na mesma posição emque Tarsila teria ficado no seu atelier para, então, se reproduzir. A inclinação do espelho sugeria as deformações da tela. Um detalhe interessante é queminha tia tinha “pé grego”: o segundo dedo do pé maiorque o dedão, detalhe que também aparece no Abaporu". Além do Abaporu, o livro reproduz as mais importantesobras de Tarsila, óleos e desenhos, que exemplificam aevolução da mais brasileira das artistas. Brasilidade quetransparece em todas as suas telas.
Hacer arquitectura en Bogotá, a 4º latitud Norte y 2.600 metros sobre el nivel del mar, supone unas características geográficas: edificios que cambian cuando llueve, que responden a la luz uniforme de un día nublado generando sombras matizadas, pero que, al tiempo, permiten la sombra profunda de un día soleado de diciembre. Son edificios que responden a la posibilidad de que en el mismo día haga calor y frío, una característica determinante de la ciudad de Bogotá.La obra de Daniel Bermúdez parte de las certezas y de lo inevitable: la luz, el agua y la gravedad. Los edificios se pueden considerar como artefactos que, sin ningún pudor, reflejan los diferentes arreglos complejos de sus elementos arquitectónicos para canalizar estas fuerzas externas, lo que permite afirmar que, literalmente, el arquitecto Daniel Bermúdez construye los efificios con estos materiales esenciales.
